Wow - y'all are fast! The mailman knocked around noon today and brought some mail and a care package from a couple of Chase's friends. At least they were up ;-). What's the first thing Chase grabbed? Not the candy or the toys, but the stress ball:
Okay, being back with Mom isn't the worst thing in the world...just think, Grandma and I could be there too. But dwelling on today's radiation session is making him all gloomy so they're heading out for a walk in the surprisingly nice weather.
It'll get better. Eyes on the prize. (insert additional platitudes here).

We loved the mail! Thanks to Lucy and Sydney for the care package for Chase. We had a good laugh getting all those goodies out and reading all the post-it notes. But, like my sister put in the blog, the stress ball was the first thing he went for. Gee, I wonder if he will let me use it. :-) Thanks to Nancy Davis for asking for the address, I really didn't think to even ask for it in the first place. She insisted and then "we got mail". April, thanks for the gift card, we will put that to good use one night for sure! Of course my mom sent us some reading material from the local newspaper. Thanks Mom, always good to hear about what is going on around there.

I know it is tough on you gusys being so far away from home, but we are keeping you close in our hearts and prayers. We miss you guys and can't wait for you to come home. Chase, relax and let the doctors work their magic on you so that you don't have to waste anymore time in hospitals!!
