It was a success! Basebald For The Cure was a huge success in raising over $6,500 and it could be still growning. Chase was so excited for this day to come, he had high hopes to "pay it forward" for what that hospital did for him. The Lineberger Center is getting the money raised by everyone in memory of Ashton Miller. She was a friend of Chase's that passed away a bit ago to a childhood cancer. It is sad, yet has brought great realization to Chase that not everyone comes out of the terrible disease of cancer okay. He thinks or thought that because he is okay, others will be okay too. I was a true wake up call for him, and me too.
I am posting some pictures of Chase during the shaving of the heads. The entire team was shaved bald as well as a couple of coaches. Some pretty, some not so pretty. ;) Enjoy the pictures.....
