How did you find out about Chase's Blog?

Merry Christmas!
Judith promised, in her copious spare time, that she would take a picture of the family in front of the tree for me to post in the blog. Since that has yet to appear in my inbox, I improvised!

Why yes, I'm very, very bad at photoshopping. It's more like photo chopping.... But the sentiment is there - Merry Christmas! And it will be a good one!

If this doesn't remind her that she needs to drag the camera out and make everyone smile, nothing will.

Chase's last blood tests were, according to the nurse, not too bad yet. Interesting choice of words, but nothing was tagged "CL" this time, which is good. His ANC was a relatively healthy 1.5 (normally greater than 2.0), rather than the .2 that spooked us all last time. His next test is around the 27th, and he should be going in for his final chemo on the 28th, or thereabouts, then on to Houston for radiation.

But enough of that for now - let's enjoy the season!

Note to self: Dr. Pepper has a lot of caffeine! Buzzzzzz.... But at least I got this blog and some more wrapping done!

Oh Beth you are bad! If I had known what pictures you would have chosen to photoshop, I definately would have been a bit snappier with getting those boys together. But, then again, they are boys, and both driving and leaving me at home with no car, so what am I to do? LOL Thanks for doing what you do and now at least everyone is getting a good laugh. I don't know how recent that picture of Jacob that is, but at least we know the one of Chase is pretty recent. :)
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are pleased with Chase's last MRI results and know that things are going great. His last hospital stay should be a short one between Christmas and New Years and then he can spend some more time with friends who are at home before they go back to school. Then our Houston trip. Once that is over we will try to see if we can get some "normalcy" back into our household. Chase wants to find a place in Chapel Hill to live and be a part of the baseball team and I would like to get back to work. ;-) I miss my class. So, we will hope for the best and until after the New Year, thanks for the prayers and well wishes and we hope you all have a wonderful Holiday break too.

To the Jones Gang - know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers and we wish you the merriest of Christmases!!! (Judith, teacher, did I spell that correctly?!?) Glad to hear of Chase's test results - we'll continue to keep a positive attitude about those. For now ... have a wonderful holiday season and enjoy your time together. Love to you all - The Weast Gang

Hi Judith, Buddy, Chase and Jacob, we all hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and we pray for you all God's very best for 2007. Who knew at the beginning of 2006 what the year would hold? We never know what the future really holds, but we do know that God has moved on Chase's behalf and for whatever reason He has chosen our special Chase for this "mission", we know that God must have something really big for Chase to do! Ya'll have been in our thoughts and prayers throughout this season and of course you will continue to be. Ya'll are so special to us and when baseball season starts, both at Carolina and with Ben at RCC, we'll still be cheering our boys. Go Chase (in your new role at UNC!) and BEEE-EEEN!! (how the heck do you spell BEN with 2 syllables?!) We love you all very much and are continually in prayer for Chase and your family. Hope to see you soon.
Love, Sherri, Mark, Ben & Tyler
