Barring anything unexpected, this will be the last update until Chase goes in on Monday.
I really missed out not going to Chapel Hill today - I heard Chase's GFR was "awesome". They injected him with a radioactive marker, then he was in some half a million dollar machine that showed his insides while his kidneys gathered up the radioactive stuff and got rid of it. A "glowing" report (and no, not with the naked eye so don't ask to see anything).
Although he seems to have missed out on the cold the rest of the family passed around last week, we really want to make sure he's healthy going in to the hospital next week. Is it overkill to put of box of these by the front door? Maybe we'll just make him wear one. That'll go over real well.
I'm in charge of DVD entertainment for next week, but since he'll be home the following week, I have a special request for Buddy. Five bucks a month - try it, you'll like it! If not, you just turn it back in! (Does Buddy even read this blog?)
Tests done, Chase is home for the weekend. I asked him if he had any plans (Lexington BBQ Festival) for the weekend, but he said no, not really. (events) I'm sure anything his friends want to do (travel info) would be just fine with him!
Why am I craving pork all of a sudden?

You have a great weekend and make sure and tell the person that does this blog for you that they do a awesome job. I look at it daily to see your progress. Stay strong.

Ditto what the Murray's said. I check the blog every morning. Chase, we have quite a library of books to read if you are interested. We'll keep praying as you begin your treatment. The Schelhammer's
Chase - thinking of you and the rest of your family. Keep your spirit up and have positive thoughts. Know you're in our prayers.
