Now there are three heading to Houston - Chase, Judith, and me! No frequent flyer miles needed after all - Judith sent me a link to some cheeeeap Air Tran deals.
So Judith's happy, John's sad, and the cats will be whining. A lot. Go with your strengths, kitties. And John.
Mom always said that after a few days, fish and guests both stink. Thankfully, Air Tran's deal allows me to stay just until Thursday. I can be Judith's "brains" and an extra set of ears for Chase's first appointment Tuesday morning, help them get settled in the apartment someone's generously providing (I'll bring the wireless router!), and maybe even find a good Tex-Mex place before heading for home.
Chase's 2 hour MRI is scheduled for Friday - tonight - 8PM! We expect a good report. Pretty please...

I am so thankful to Beth for coming and being my "brains" as she says. It is a scary thing enough what we are going through and I don't like making such critical decisions on my own. So, thanks to John and the cats for allowing her to come and be with me for the first few days of our time in Houston. Not only for the doctors visits but also to help get adjusted to where we will be living for a month or so.
I have to thank Debbie too, my Houston contact for being so kind in getting accommodations and airfare for Chase and me. She also is helping us with many adjustments for our stay. I believe we are going to be well taken care of thanks to Debbie and all her friends. Thanks Debbie!!!

All you Jones folks - we're glad that you're almost through with this "stuff," as Judith calls it. Know that there are so many of us here thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers. You've been strong through the first half, now you're on the count down to the last half of this "mess." We've had "messes" before, too and they can be cleaned up! We just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you guys and keeping you in our prayers. Chase, Mark wants to take all his boys (You, Trenton and Justin) golfing when you get back and then cook you guys a nice dinner. Sorry we haven't been in touch lately, Mark's dad passed away during the holidays and we have been going back and forth to Virginia. Please know how much we love you and can't wait to celebrate with you when you get home. Please call us the minute you get back....

You've given all of us a visual of what it means to take your hands off the wheel and let God work his wonders. Chase there's a pan of monkey bread with your name on it when you get back...Judith,pilates in your hotel room and it doesn't even matter if your socks match :-)

Our whole family knows what a struggle this whole bout has been for your family. (as well as ours from both sides) There have been a lot of prayers going up for you. As you travel this hopefully final journey to ridden this sickness, please know, though the may miles separate us, we think of you often. It was so good to see you Christmas, and Lord willing, we will meet up again soon! (Aunt Judith, I think Chris may be sick of my new found cooking skills!)
But anyway, we love you, and think of you often......CHASE hurry up and get better.....you have a free room in Germany! You too Jake!
