How did you find out about Chase's Blog?

A queasy day...

Sleep, eat a bite or two, sleep, shower, sleep, snack. Repeat until it's time to go to bed.

Is he glad to be home? I don't really know, but if he doesn't feel better tomorrow Judith says she's going to get home health out there to give him IV something until he does. He did make a feeble attempt to go out with Griffin but he came home within 30 minutes to, you guessed it, sleep.

I know this is expected, more or less, and I know everyone at the hospital says he's doing great, considering, but it doesn't make it easier to watch (or, no doubt, endure).

Here's hoping tomorrow's a better day!

I hear he's feeling a bit better today, but if it would encourage a visit, I suspect he could work up some nausea until you get there to cheer him up ;-).

Yes, Chase has had a better day today. This round of chemo was definately a tough one for him, for sure! He was used to breezing through these, but after his body has taken such a beating, it was harder to bounce back from this one. Thanks to all the wonderful nurses on the floor who took such fabulous care of him. Also thanks to the visitors, those he played guitar with him and those who just sat around with him. It was a long week, but the worst is over.
Our trip to Houston I think is going to be put off until January. They cannot do the simulation until two weeks before radiation begins, so we really don't need to go now. We will try again the first week in January, I guess. Thanks for the prayers on that and all of you who are trying to make that happen.
Such supportive family and friends is what Chase is so lucky to have. Thanks everyone.
